Calm

Soothing,

yet, serious

Like water lapping the beach

Black and white pictures

from long ago

She was into playing cribbage and golf

Enjoyed talking

Walking along the fence line

of the Farm

Never ending

Taught me herself

the game of cribbage

Watched over me

with all of the rest

of her family

Was against our unintentional rudeness

But loved her family

with much fondness

all the same

Brown eyes

Grey hair

And for all of this

I am grateful
