A 50-year-old Anchorage man has been sentenced to seven years in prison for his conviction on child pornography charges.
The state Office of Special Prosecutions says Feliciano Villalba was sentenced Tuesday. Anchorage Superior Court Judge Michael Spaan also ordered Villaba to be on supervised probation for 10 years.
Assistant attorney General Clint Campion in an announcement says Villalba was arrested in November during an Anchorage Police Department undercover investigation.
He says Villalba sent images and videos depicting sexual abuse of young children to a detective and that an examination of Villalba's computer showed nearly 700 images and 200 videos depicting sexual abuse of young children.
Campion says Villaba worked in maintenance at the Boys and Girls Club, but the investigation found no indication he harmed Alaska children.
