West 10, East 4 in prep basketball

Andrew McAlister went 3 for 3 with two RBIs to help propel West to a 10-4 win over East in a Cook Inlet Conference baseball game at Mulcahy Stadium on Thursday.

West took command of the game with a five-run third inning to go up 8-3. West's Mac Evans was 2 for 3 with a double, a triple and two RBIs. Dalton Gantner-Chapman was the winning pitcher, striking out seven in five innings.

East pitcher Bradley Hudson struck out three over two scoreless innings, and Victor Jacobson doubled and scored for the T-birds.

Chugiak 16, Bart. 6

Chugiak's Chase Wilson knocked in three runs Tuesday at Mulcahy Stadium, contributing to a 16-6 win over Bartlett in a CIC baseball game.

Chugiak starting pitcher Justin Schneider struck out four in three innings.
