Grace Christian's Claire Trujillo won a Region III track and field title in the girls' 3,200-meter run Friday, and Seward's Miles Knotek was a winner in the boys' 3,200.

Trujillo finished the race in 12 minutes, 5 seconds, and Knotek clocked 10:00.9. Events were held at The Dome and Goldenview Middle School, where the championships will continue Saturday.
