FAIRBANKS -- Fairbanks police are investigating the death of a 31-year-old woman as a homicide.
Kaylynn Bishop's body was found last week in a ditch near the Richardson Highway at Badger Road.
The Fairbanks Daily News-Miner says police are seeking any information on what she may have been doing in the days before her death between Sunday morning and Wednesday evening.
Bishop's body was found after police received a call from a passer-by on Wednesday night, but she remained unidentified until Saturday.
