Jonathan Boyer scattered eight hits in a seven-inning complete-game performance Friday in Kenai to lift Colony to a 6-1 win over Wasilla that earned the Knights the Southcentral Conference championship and a state tournament berth.
Colony third baseman Ben Ross singled, doubled and drove in three runs.
