Tlingit artist Nicholas Galanin, featured speaker at the next Smithsonian Spotlight lecture, will present a talk about his work at noon today at the Anchorage Museum. The talk was originally scheduled for June 7. Galanin, from Sitka, is among the contemporary artists featured in the museum's current "True North" exhibition. His nationally acclaimed work often explores issues of modern Native identity in photographs, assemblages, music, dance, theater and video.
