LAS VEGAS -- An Alaska woman told casino officials she plans to take her son to New Zealand after she won a $1 million slot machine jackpot at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

Linda Fleury of Eagle River hit the prize after putting $20 into a Wheel of Fortune machine on Wednesday night.

Hard Rock officials tell the Las Vegas Sun the jackpot rang in at $1,064,121.24.

Fleury says in a statement released by the casino that she just sat there, stunned.

She says she thought she was seeing things.
