Recent Ben Eielson graduate killed in Michigan vehicle crash

FAIRBANKS -- A young man who recently graduated from high school in Alaska died in a car crash while moving to the Lower 48 with his family.

The Fairbanks Daily News-Miner reports that a memorial service for 18-year-old Anthony Foulk is scheduled for Thursday at Eielson Air Force Base, where his father was stationed.

Foulk was a multisport athlete at Ben Eielson Senior High School. He died on an interstate near Battle Creek, Mich. According to local media reports, the crash occurred while he and his 20-year-old sister were having a dispute over the car radio.

His sister was the driver. She survived with minor injuries.

Services for Foulk were held in Michigan on Friday.
