Scott Hodgson delivered four hits, and Andrew Martin and Bryan Baker each contributed three Wednesday night to lead South Post 4 to a 9-6 American Legion baseball victory over West Post 1 at Kosinski Fields.
Mike MacDonald earned the win for South.
Ted Kelly and Jacob Hilowitz each furnished West with two hits.
Bartlett 8, West 3 Junior Williams settled down nicely after allowing three first-inning runs Thursday night and spearheaded Bartlett Post 29 to an 8-3 non-league American Legion baseball victory over West Post 1 at Chad Bax Field. Williams struck out six in a seven-inning complete game and also went 1 for 2 with two walks, a run scored and two RBIs. Logan Williams went 2 for 3 with a walk, scored twice and drove in two runs. West’s Jacob Hilowitz was 1 for 3 with a walk, a double and a run scored.
