RUNNING -- Registration deadlines for the 17th annual Alaska Men's Run are approaching, beginning with the July 14 deadline for mail-in entries.

The five-mile race, which is Saturday, July 21, is a benefit for men's cancer, particularly prostrate and testicular cancer.

Register online through Friday, July 20, or sign up in person -- and pick up your bib -- on July 18 or July 10 from 4-6:30 p.m. at Skinny Raven's downtown store. Mail-in entries should be sent to P.O. Box 242494, Anchorage, 99524.

Entry fee is $35 for individuals and $70 for families). On the day of the race, entry fees go up to $45 and $80.
