Anchorage's Sean Rash is in the running for the ESPY Award for best bowler.

Rash, a Dimond High graduate, was named the PBA Player of the Year last month. He's nominated for the award along with Jason Belmonte and Mike Fagan.

Rash was the only Alaskan nominated for an ESPY, although Anchorage's Mario Chalmers and his Miami Heat teammates were among the nominees for best team.
