The Julia O'Malley column today on hacked road signs made me smile.
Several years ago I was headed to work around 4:30 a.m., a road sign on the New Seward Highway at Tudor said, "CAUTION -- BLACK HOLE AHEAD." It made me smile all day.
One of my co-workers passed by two hours later and saw, "CAUTION -- ROAD CONSTRUCTION." No one was smiling.
We could use a little more humor in this world.
