FAIRBANKS -- A 58-year-old woman who was found injured in a homeless camp has died.

The Fairbanks Daily News-Miner says Ellen Florence Juneby Rada died Sunday afternoon at the Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage. She was taken off life support a week ago. Her sister, Adeline Juneby Potts, was at her bedside when she passed away at about 4 p.m.

The Juneby family is from Eagle Village. They lost another family member on July 1, when 71-year-old Isaac Juneby died in a car crash in Anchorage. He had come to the city to be with his sister.

Fairbanks Police Lt. Dan Welborn says the investigation into the circumstances surrounding Rada's injuries continues.
