DENALI NATIONAL PARK -- The Alaska Earthquake Information Center says a magnitude 4.3 quake was recorded Monday night about 18 miles west-southwest of Denali National Park.

The Fairbanks-based center says it has received no reports that the light quake was felt or caused any damage. The quake hit at 8:06 p.m. at a depth of 65 miles.

Park offices and ranger stations were closed for the evening. An Associated Press phone message left at a lodge near the park was not immediately returned.
