Opening day for dipnetting at the Kenai River saw fish getting caught under fair skies.
John Harris, III, 52, takes out two fish to clean while his father, John Harris, II, 82 takes a break from fishing Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at the shore of the Kenai River during the first opening of the personal use salmon dipnetting season. The Harrises caught a total of eleven fish Tuesday; eight more from last year's opening.
