A massive landslide came down in Glacier Bay National Park in June, 2012. Pilot Drake Olson spotted the slide early in July and has photographed it several times since. A cliff collapsed on Lituya Mountain in the park, sending rock and ice coursing down a valley and over Johns Hopkins glacier in what could be one of the largest landslide recorded in North America.
