A massive landslide came down in Glacier Bay National Park in June, 2012. Pilot Drake Olson spotted the slide early in July and has photographed it several times since. A cliff collapsed on Lituya Mountain in the park, sending rock and ice coursing down a valley and over Johns Hopkins glacier in what could be one of the largest landslide recorded in North America. The rumbling was enough so that it showed up as an earthquake in Alaska and Canada. DRAKE OLSON / FLYDRAKE.COM
