WASHINGTON, D.C. -- U.S. Rep. Don Young raised more than $118,000 for his re-election bid between April and June.
His quarterly financial disclosure, filed Wednesday with the Federal Election Commission, shows he had more than $576,000 on hand as of June 30.
Individual contributions accounted for about $55,000 of his quarterly total, with political action committees contributing the rest.
Most of Young's opponents, including fellow Republicans, Democrats and a Libertarian, are little-known politically and had yet to report any financial activity with the FEC as of Wednesday afternoon.
