BANK BELIEVER: Billionaire Warren Buffett praised the way JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon has handled his banks trading losses. Buffett also said Wells Fargo and Bank of America are performing well and aren't too big.

UNEASY EURO: Among other topics during an extended interview on Bloomberg television, Buffett also said he doesn't think the euro can survive under current rules.

REFINING RESULTS: Investors jumped on the news that Buffett's company had bought some stock in the refining company Phillips 66. Buffett said that was a smaller purchase made by one of Berkshire Hathaway's other investment managers.
