A 41-year-old North Pole man will spend nine years in a federal prison for being in possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.
Ivan Laurence was sentenced Friday in U.S. District Court in Anchorage.
The U.S. Attorney's office says in a release that more than 19 grams of meth and more than $20,000 in cash were found when authorities searched Laurence's home in November.
