JUNEAU -- Two men were uninjured when their boat capsized when a whale breached next to them.

The Coast Guard tells KINY the incident happened late Thursday near Hoonah.

Two unidentified men were halibut fishing from a skiff when the whale breached, causing the 18-foot boat to capsize.

The two men were able to swim to shore. The Coast Guard says there were able to right the skiff, and called family for help.
