Alaska Red Cross CEO takes job at national office

The chief executive officer of the American Red Cross of Alaska has accepted a position with the national organization.

Michelle Houlihan's last day in Anchorage will be Aug. 1. She will join the national office in Colorado in a senior position in corporate and foundation giving for the Northwest Division. She will continue to work with the Alaska chapter in the new role.

Paton Stott has been chosen by the American Red Cross of Alaska board of directors to be the interim CEO until a permanent replacement is found. Stott is currently the chapter's chief operations officer.
