A 24-year-old Anchorage man was arrested on charges of possessing and distributing child pornography Thursday, troopers said.

According to an Alaska State Troopers dispatch Cody Lichtenberg is being held at the Anchorage jail on felony possession and distribution of child pornography charges.

Troopers and the Anchorage Police Department began investigating Lichtenberg in March, according to the release. He allegedly distributed dozens of child exploitation images to others on the internet.
