Parks Highway crash victim ID'd as Trapper Creek woman

WASILLA -- Alaska State Troopers say the woman killed Thursday in a Parks Highway head-on collision was an 80-year-old resident of Trapper Creek.

Delores Stilwell was pronounced dead at the scene at Mile 63.3 south of Willow.

She was a passenger in a van being driven south by 82-year-old Lee Stillwell that crossed the center line and smashed into a northbound car driven by 69-year-old Jeannette Keida of Willow.

Keida was airlifted to Providence Alaska Medical Center.

A passenger in her car, 64-year-old Richard Keida, and Lee Stillwell were transported to Mat-Su Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.

All four people were wearing seat belts. The vehicles were demolished.
