JUNEAU -- A Juneau man has pleaded guilty to sexually abusing a minor.

The Juneau Empire says that as part of an agreement with prosecutors, 39-year-old Ronald Blue changed his plea Tuesday in Juneau Superior Court. The plea agreement will first have to be accepted by the judge.

Under the deal, Blue would receive 40 years in prison with 15 years suspended, meaning that he would serve 25 years. After his release, he would be required to serve an additional 20 years' probation and register as a sex offender. He also would be required to attend sex offender treatment and have no contact with any child under 18 years old except incidental contact.

Authorities say Blue knew the victim from July 2007 to May 2009.
