Libby Casey hosts "Washington Journal" on C-SPAN.

Washington, D.C., newspaper The Hill has named former Fairbanks broadcast journalist Libby Casey one of the "50 Most Beautiful People" on Capitol Hill. Casey, who got her start in public radio with KUAC in Fairbanks, moved to D.C. four years ago as an Alaska Public Radio Network correspondent. But she became much more visible when she became host of the C-SPAN television show "Washington Journal." Casey tells The Hill that her Fairbanks wardrobe proved unsuitable when she arrived in the nation's capital, but that she has now been transformed into a "Washington version" of herself.

Casey was in Alaska this month and talked about her life in D.C. with the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner.
