Palin: Family is 'living life vibrantly' through reality TV

July 25, 2012

A reporter for New York Magazine's Vulture entertainment site got three minutes alone with Sarah Palin at a Beverly Hills press event for the reality show "Stars Earn Stripes," in which Todd Palin is a celebrity participant. It's the fourth reality show for the Palin family; daugher Bristol and her 3-year-old son are currently starring in their own show. What's the appeal, the reporter asked Palin. Is it a new way to reach the political base? "I'm certainly not doing it for the money, no!" she replied. "Our family's mantra is to live life vibrantly."

We were only able to chat for three minutes before her handlers pulled her away, but during even that limited time frame, Palin managed to say the words "honor," "success" and "American exceptionalism." Always on message!
