Published: July 25, 2012

A skywriter took advantage of fair skies over Anchorage to write AIRSHOW and a smiley face. Arctic Thunder is July 28 and 29 and preparations are underway.

A skywriter scribed AIRSHOW into the sky over Anchorage this afternoon, July 25, 2012, then punctuated it with a smiley face. JBER's open house, Arctic Thunder is this weekend. Every two years the base hosts the event. The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds and the U.S. Army Golden Knights Parachute Team are highlighting the show.
