On Sept. 17, the Anchorage Neighborhood Health Center (ANHC) will open the doors at its new medical and dental facility on C Street, between Tudor and International.

Nearly 10 years in the making, ANHC's new comprehensive medical and dental facility is crucial to the health care infrastructure of Anchorage. No one is turned away due to lack of insurance and a sliding scale discount is offered for those with limited income. While it's uncertain how health care reform will unfold over the next few years, it's of some comfort to know that there is a place for those with limited means to access high quality care and to establish a medical home.
