Finally, a bear story with a happy ending! As a wildlife lover, it's been upsetting to read about the number of bears being killed in Anchorage and surrounding areas this summer. It was so refreshing and heartwarming to pick up the paper this morning and read about the bear cub rescue on the Kenai River. Kudos to Mike Polocz and his friends for taking the time and effort to save the little cub from drowning and reunite it with its mother. Way to go, guys!
