Troopers gear up for Labor Day weekend patrols

Alaska State Troopers say they plan to beef up patrols ahead of the Labor Day weekend to clamp down on intoxicated drivers.

And wildlife troopers will focus on people out fishing or hunting.

Troopers say they'll be looking for impaired, aggressive and distracted drivers.

The enhanced patrols begin Friday and continue through Labor Day, Sept. 3.
