Lynx too much for Wolves in tennis

Dimond swept all four girls matches, won seven of eight contested matches and mixed in a forfeit to register an 8-1 win over visiting Eagle River in a Cook Inlet Conference tennis meet Thursday.

Lynx girls singles players Adrienne Fox and Madison Chad each lost just a single game.

Wesley Bennke racked Eagle River's only win with a three-set victory in boys No. 2 singles.

Girls Singles 2 -- Madison Chan (D) d. Kendall Mullins 6-0, 6-1. Boys Doubles 1 -- Clayton Nadon/Jack Sedor (D) d. Jack Jerome/Daniel McLain 6-0, 6-3. Boys Doubles 2 -- Kyle Stone/Chad Balmes (D) win by forfeit. Girls Doubles 1 -- Megan Ahn/Savana Hartley (D) d. Mary Stone/Madison Lewis 6-3, 6-3. Girls Doubles 2 -- Signe Stanton/Isabel Mills (D) d. Crimson Christian/Dana Bernhardt 4-6, 6-2, 10-3. Mixed Doubles -- Lauren Drake/Jun Lee (D) d. Greyson Spiller/Kaitlyn Quigley 6-1, 6-0.

West 9, Bartlett 0

West won all matches by default Wednesday over Bartlett in their scheduled CIC tennis meet.
