FAIRBANKS -- A man has been arrested on charges he murdered a North Pole woman he was dating late last spring.
Fairbanks police on Friday arrested Nyrobbie Chandler in the death of 31-year-old Kaylynn Bishop. He also has been charged with tampering with evidence.
The Fairbanks Daily News-Miner reports Bishop's body was found May 9 partially buried in ditch behind a junked vehicle.
The remains discovered near the intersection of the Richardson Highway and Badger Road went unidentified for three days.
