Cat and caribou curiosity

Published: August 20, 2012

A visiting caribou approaches a cat as the two satisfy their mutual curiosities in the yard of a Kalifornsky Beach Road home Sunday evening August 19, 2012 in Soldotna. "Roxy the cat was very curious and the two had quite the stare down!," said homeowner Stephanie Page. "In the end I think the two decided they would be friends instead of foes and left each other alone. The caribou spent nearly 45 minutes grazing in our yard before leaving. You've got to love the beauty of Alaskan wildlife."
