JUNEAU -- The average composite score on the ACT exam for Alaska high school graduates was unchanged from 2011.
The average score of 21.2, on a scale of 1 to 36, for 2012 graduates compares to the national average of 21.1, which was also unchanged.
Thirty-five percent of this year's Alaska high school graduates took the college entrance exam. That compares to 40 percent of 2011 graduates.
