Dimond 20, Eagle River 0 in flag football

Kalie Suellentrop was on the receiving end of two Tara Thompson touchdown tosses Friday to help Dimond cruise past Eagle River 20-0 in Cook Inlet Conference flag football action at Dimond Alumni Field.

Thompson threw scoring strikes of seven and 12 yards and was also a primary weapon in Dimond's ground game. Thompson rushed for 83 yards and one touchdown on 11 carries and teammate Haley Martin gained 100 yards on 11 carries.

Vanessa Tufaga came up with five pulls and Gabby Coleman had four to spark the Dimond defense.

Service 14, East 0

Keaira Caldarera rushed for 125 yards and two touchdowns on six carries Friday to lead Service past East 14-0 in a CIC game at Anchorage Football Stadium.

Emily Haas spearheaded the defense with 10 pulls.
