BEST BETS FOR SUNDAY

Alaska Seafood Throwdown. Chefs John D'Elia, Tim Farley and Paul Villnerve compete to create the most yummy Alaska seafood dish. Come watch and taste. 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Borealis Plaza Tent.

State Fair Rodeo. This competition is the biggest rodeo in Alaska with bull riding, double mugging, bareback riding, barrel racing and more. 2 p.m., France Equestrian Center.

Duct Tape Contest. Design anything from duct tape and enter the Duct Tape Contest and/or Fashion Show or just watch the contestants. 4 p.m., Woodlot Stage.

Styx. In its 40-year career, the band has built a discography of more than 30 albums featuring such hit singles as "Lady" and "Come Sail Away." 6 p.m. Borealis Theatre.
