Light earthquake felt in Denali Park area

DENALI NATIONAL PARK -- A light earthquake was felt near Denali National Park.

The Alaska Earthquake Information Center says the quake was located 35 miles east of Denali Park and occurred at 7:34 a.m. Tuesday. It was felt in Denali Village near the entrance to the park, and in Cantwell and Healy on each side of the park.

It also was felt as far away as Fairbanks.

There were no reports of damage.
