FAIRBANKS -- A 45-year-old North Pole man convicted of sexually abusing multiple children during a 13-year period has been sentenced to 25 years in prison.
Superior Court Judge Randy Olsen says the case of Rolin Allison Jr. was among the worst he has seen in his 35-year law career.
Prosecutors say that during his 20s, Allison sexually abused four younger adopted siblings plus a neighbor child with whom he played hide-and-seek.
He was arrested in November after a victim came forward. Allison pleaded guilty in May to eight of 37 charges in a plea deal.
The Fairbanks Daily News-Miner reports Allison did not comment at the sentencing Monday.
Two victims, now adults, say Allison's abuse continues to affect them.
