An Anchorage man is charged with murder in the July shooting death of an Anchor Point man found inside his home in the Kenai Peninsula town, according to Alaska State Troopers.
According to the troopers' original report on the incident, Demian Sagerser's friend found the 40-year-old man dead on July 8. He had been shot multiple times, troopers said.
On Friday in Anchorage, about 200 road miles north of Anchor Point, police officers and troopers arrested 20-year-old Anchorage resident Demarqus Deshean Green outside his home, which they searched. Green was jailed on charges of second-degree murder, first-degree robbery and evidence tampering, troopers said.
