SITKA -- One injury was reported when a pickup hit a school bus that was stopped after the first day of school in Sitka to drop off children.

The Sitka Daily Sentinel reports none of the 22 children on the bus nor either driver was injured in the Wednesday afternoon accident. The pickup passenger was trapped in the vehicle, and firefighters had to saw off the top of the pickup to get the 17-year-old male out.

He was taken to a hospital.
