JUNEAU -- Alaskans will learn the amount of their Permanent Fund dividend on Sept. 18.
The governor's office says Revenue Commissioner Bryan Butcher will announce the amount in Anchorage.
The announcement of the size of the annual dividend -- Alaskans' share of the state's oil wealth -- is so widely anticipated, it's even televised.
Last year's dividend was $1,174.
