Juneau 3, Palmer 2 in volleyball

Juneau's Chelsea Peterson drilled 19 kills Thursday, and the visiting Crimson Bears slipped past Palmer with a 12-25, 27-25, 20-25, 25-21, 15-8 high school volleyball victory.

Gracie Meiners added 10 kills for Juneau, and Elliot Perkins led Palmer's attack with 14 kills. Macey Buresh dished 31 assists for the Moose, Lily Cullers led their defense with 15 digs and Brecken Riekena notched three aces.
