Eagle River 24, South 12 in flag football

Eagle River quarterback Jessica Moore threw for three touchdowns and ran for another Saturday, and the Wolves delivered a 24-12 homecoming victory over visiting South in a Cook Inlet Conference flag football game.

Moore, who threw for 195 yards, hit Skylar Metzel for all three passing scores. Metzel found the end zone on plays of 15, 35 and 90 yards, her 90-yarder coming in the fourth quarter and adding to an 18-12 lead.

Eagle River (3-4), led by Alyssa Randall's seven pulls and Scout Warners' five, jumped to an 18-0 lead, but South (1-6) rallied for two unanswered touchdowns.
