Villager dies from wreck injuries

Troopers on Monday said a 21-year-old Tuluksak man died last week of injuries sustained in a single-vehicle crash in the Western Alaska village.

The accident was first reported to Alaska State Troopers in Bethel on Sept. 2, according to a Trooper dispatch.

Crimet Alexie was transported to Anchorage for medical treatment and died on Sept. 4, according to the dispatch.

No details about what caused the crash were available Monday.

Troopers are investigating the incident.
