The Anchorage Fire Department christened their new light rescue boat at the small boat launch on Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012. Boat One is a 27' SAFE boat with a walk around cabin, is powered by two 300 h.p. outboard motors, and will be docked at the Port of Anchorage in the event of rescue operations in the Cook Inlet.
