Ryan Harris Monday, Sept. 10, 2012 in Sitka, Alaska, shows blisters on his hands he developed while gripping the edge of a 4-foot-square fish bin for more than a day in the open ocean, after the boat he was on sank near Sitka, Alaska. A Coast Guard helicopter hoisted 19-year-old Harris from his plastic "lifeboat" on Saturday afternoon, more than 24 hours after the boat sank on Friday. JAMES POULSON / SITKA DAILY SENTINEL
