Juneau mayor honors 4 who saved drowning man

JUNEAU -- Four Juneau residents who saved a man from drowning last month were honored at a Juneau Assembly meeting.

Mayor Bruce Botelho on Monday recognized Jerry Burns, John Feller and John and Crystal Fawcett and called them heroes.

KINY-radio reports they saved Bruce Denton when he hit his head while rowing under a harbor ramp and fell into the water. Denton was at the meeting and thanked his rescuers.
