Alaska State Troopers are investigating the death of a 25-year-old Kokhanok man whose body was found in Lake Iliamna.

Trooper Joseph Minnick says Kokhanok residents recovered the body of Trefim Wassillie Jr. on Sunday. He says troopers were notified but were unable to fly there until Monday because of high winds.

Minnick says the remains have been sent to the state medical examiner's office in Anchorage.
