West 8, East 1 in tennis

West finished the regular season atop the Cook Inlet Conference tennis standings Thursday, capping an undefeated season with an 8-1 win over East at The Alaska Club East. The Eagles (14-0) will try to keep their winning streak alive in next week's CIC championship, followed by the state tournament in two weeks.

Eagle River won all of the singles matches Wednesday in a 6-3 CIC tennis meet win over Bartlett.
